I've had many Foreman grills over the years. The problem has always been that the nonstick coating wears off and the food sticks. Plus, they don't last long. I decided to buy a better grill and found this one. I like that you can vary the temperature instead of just a set temp (scorch) and food cooks evenly. It does have a 3 year warranty and that's a good thing. Also, there's an on/off switch and I love it. There's no timer but use the instruction manual for suggested cooking times then go from there. That's what I do because everyone has their own ideas about cooking time. It's easy to clean just remember to let the grill cool a bit. So far, I've only had to use a paper towel on the grill surface and that has seasoned it. Based on the time I've used the grill I'd recommend it. It came well packaged, too.
